TRANSFORMATIONS

REPAIR IS ABOUT MORE THAN MAKING SOMETHING LOOK NEW.

These are real pieces brought in by real customers—worn down, coming apart, or simply in need of care. What you see here is the range of what good repair work can accomplish.

WHAT A TRANSFORMATION CAN MEAN

NOT EVERY REPAIR IS ABOUT MAKING SOMETHING LOOK BRAND NEW.

Some repairs restore function—a sole that has separated, a zipper that has failed, a heel that has worn through to the welt. Others restore appearance. Most do both. What they share is that the piece comes back into use.

The work shown here covers a range of materials, service types, and outcomes. Some results are dramatic. Others are quieter—a shoe that looks mostly the same but feels right again. Both count.

SOLES & HEELS

REBUILDING WHAT MEETS THE GROUND.

Sole separation, heel replacement, full resoles—these are some of the most common repairs we do and some of the most satisfying. A shoe that has lost its sole is often structurally sound everywhere else. Reattachment or replacement gives it years of additional wear.

Heel work ranges from a simple top-lift swap to full heel rebuilds on dress shoes and boots. The right approach depends on the construction, the material, and how the shoe sits when the customer is wearing it.

LEATHER & UPPER WORK

WORN LEATHER CAN HAVE CHARACTER—AND STILL NEED CARE.

Scuffs, cracks, color loss, and lining damage can all be addressed. The goal is not always to make leather look factory-fresh—sometimes preserving patina while correcting actual damage is the better outcome.

Stitching repair, tongue reinforcement, lining replacement, and stretch work for fit are all part of upper repair. Each job is assessed individually because leather behaves differently depending on tannage, finish, and age.

SNEAKERS & ATHLETIC FOOTWEAR

WHEN MODERN MATERIALS START TO FAIL.

Foam midsoles compress and crack. Mesh uppers tear. Rubber outsoles separate from the platform. These are design failures built into modern athletic footwear—but many can be addressed before a shoe becomes unusable.

Sole regluing, outsole patching, and upper cleaning are the most frequent sneaker jobs. Foam replacement is more limited and depends on whether a structural replacement can be sourced or fabricated for the specific construction.

BAGS & LEATHER GOODS

THE DETAILS THAT FAIL FIRST CAN SOMETIMES BE REBUILT.

Straps wear through at stress points. Zippers fail at the pull tab or along the track. Corners abrade down to the substrate. Lining tears. These are the failure modes that end a bag's useful life—and most of them are repairable.

Strap replacement, zipper hardware swaps, corner rebuilding, and lining patching are all work we take on. Matching hardware finish and leather color is part of the job—a repair that looks right is a repair that holds its value.

HONEST RESULTS

A GOOD REPAIR STARTS WITH HONEST EXPECTATIONS.

Not everything can be fixed. But if it can be, we'll tell you what that looks like before we start.

We evaluate every piece before committing to a repair. If the damage exceeds what repair can reasonably address—if the material has degraded past the point of useful intervention—we say so. You get an honest assessment, not a job taken on just to take it on.

The work shown on this page is representative. Results vary by material, construction, and the extent of damage. What stays consistent is our approach: assess carefully, repair what's worth repairing, and be straightforward about what isn't.
