College Park Shoe Repair — Women’s Heel Repair
Broken heel?
Worn tip? Noise? Need it fixed today?
We repair women’s heels the same day you bring them in. Most heel tip replacements are done while you wait. Stilettos, block heels, wedges, kitten heels — if it’s a heel, we’ve seen it.
Two Ways to Get Your Heels Fixed
Choose the option that fits your schedule. Both paths start with a quick look at your shoes.
While-You-Wait Women’s Heel Repair
Walk in with your heels, have a seat, and walk out with them repaired. No drop-off. No second trip. Most heel tip replacements and minor re-heeling jobs are done in the shop while you wait.
- 30-minute appointment slot
- Typical repair: 15–30 minutes
- Heel tips, taps, minor re-heeling
- Walk in or book ahead
The 15–30 minute window is typical, not a guarantee. More complex conditions may take longer or require a same-day drop-off instead. We’ll let you know right away.
Book While-You-Wait →Same-Day Women’s Heel Repair
Drop off your shoes in the morning, pick them up later that day. This is the right path for heels that need more work, or when the shop is too busy for a while-you-wait slot.
- Morning drop-off, same-day pickup
- Heels with structural damage or deterioration
- More complex re-heeling and heel replacement
- Depends on condition and workload — call ahead
Same-day availability depends on the day’s workload and the condition of your shoes. Not all repairs can be completed same-day. If you’re not sure which path fits, just bring them in.

Designer Sole Protection
Louboutins, Manolos, Jimmy Choos — we add protective soles before the red wears through. Bring them in before they need a full repair.
The College Park Difference
We Look at the Whole Shoe, Not Just the Heel
When you bring us a pair of heels, we don’t just fix the problem you walked in with and send you on your way. We inspect the whole shoe — upper, lining, sole edge, stitching — because a heel that fails often signals something else is wearing down. You leave knowing the full picture.
After every repair, you can ask us to clean, condition, or shine your shoes at no extra charge for the look-over. We’ll only recommend treatment you actually need.
Common Questions About Heel Repair
If your question isn’t here, just bring your shoes in and we’ll give you an honest answer.
Can you fix a heel that has completely snapped off?
Often yes, but it depends on how clean the break is and whether the heel post is intact. Bring the heel in with the shoe and we’ll take a look. Some breaks repair cleanly; others have too much structural damage. We’ll tell you which situation you’re in.
How long does a heel tip replacement actually take?
Most heel tip replacements take 15–30 minutes. We offer a while-you-wait appointment so you don’t have to leave your shoes. More complex heel work may take longer or require a same-day drop-off.
My heels are making a clacking noise on hard floors. Is that a repair?
Usually yes. That sound almost always means the heel tip is worn down past the cushioning material to the plastic or metal cap underneath. Replacing the tips stops the noise. It’s one of the most common repairs we do.
Do you carry replacement tips for all heel sizes?
We keep a wide range of heel tips in stock, including stiletto, block, and kitten heel sizes. If your heel requires a specialty size or color match, call ahead and we’ll confirm availability.
What if my heel can’t be repaired?
We’ll tell you before any work begins. If the structural damage is too severe or the material is too deteriorated to hold a repair, we’d rather give you that assessment honestly than charge you for work that won’t hold.
